a.       Registrations for the upcoming 2008 Fall Season have ended.  If you are interested in playing soccer in the Blue Mountain Soccer Club this season, please contact a Board member for any possible remaining roster spots.

New for Fall 2008, BMSC will be forming an Under-5 program in their Developmental Soccer Program.

 

The Fall 2008 Player Registrations will be $60 per player.  If a family has 3 or more registrations, the 3rd, 4th, and 5th child is $40 per player.  For Fall 2008, there will be no required individual fundraiser.

 

Are you planning or thinking about coaching?  If you are interested in coaching a team for the Fall 2008, please fill out the same registration form and check off coach.  After the registration period ends, the Board Members will contact the coaches for their age specific teams based on final player registration.

Leagues in which BMSC Registers Teams for Fall 2008 Season

The Blue Mountain Soccer Club plays in both the Reading Berks Junior Soccer League and the Schuylkill County Youth Soccer League.  Reading Berks currently has numerous levels of play which would allow our club to appropriately place each team in their respective skill level to allow all players to play at their level.

 

Currently, Reading Berks has 3 levels of play and following is an explanation of each:
Travel - Division 1
Travel - Division 2
Travel – Division 3

Travel - Division 1:  This is the highest competition level. This is for the player/team that wishes to play at a high level, engage in pre/post season tournaments and play for a league championship. "Travel" in this case does not mean traveling across the state. This is merely a term used to describe the level of play, not the locations. Teams at this level are issued player passes and play teams from the Reading Berks area. Tournaments are at the discretion of the individual Coach and parents.

Travel - Division 2:  This is the median competition level. This is for the player/team that wishes to play at a higher level of play than available in the Travel 3 (recreational level) division and engage in pre/post season tournaments. "Travel" in this case does not mean traveling across the state. This is merely a term used to describe the level of play, not the locations. Teams at this level are issued player passes and play teams from the Reading Berks area. Tournaments are at the discretion of the individual Coach and parents.

Travel - Division 3:  This is the lowest competition level. This is for the player/team that wishes to play at a recreational level.  This is merely a term used to describe the level of play, not the locations. Teams at this level are issued player passes and play teams from the Reading Berks area. Tournaments are at the discretion of the individual Coach and parents.
 

Schuylkill County is a recreational league with 2 levels of recreational play.  A  and B.  “A” teams play in the better divisions and play for league championships.
 

BMSC decides which league each team participates with input from the team coach (if the team has a coach at the time the decision must be made)

 

Our developmental teams (Ages groups U6, U7, U8) play in-house on local fields.  New for 2008, BMSC will accept registrations for an Under-5 division.
